Diet Tips – Fast and easy ways to diet (guaranteed)

On May 12th, 2010 by Markus | No Comments | Posted in Weight Loss

Many people hate the idea of rigid diets – the good news is that if follow the five proven weight loss tips below, you will lose weight easily.

The diet tips require no real willpower and can improve anyone's diet and chances of healthy weight control.

1. Drink Water

One of the most effective diet tips is to drink plenty of water. In fact, water is possibly the single most important catalyst in losing weight and keeping it off.

Water acts as a natural appetite suppressant by keeping your stomach full and fending off dehydration that leads to hunger cravings. Water also provides the additional benefit of flushing out toxins from the body and keeping it hydrated.

Water also helps your body metabolize stored fat by helping the kidneys flush out waste. When you don't drink enough water the liver that works to provide stored fat for energy also takes on the role of helping the kidneys eliminate waste and thus becomes less effective at metabolizing fat.

2. Eat Breakfast

Many people believe one of the best diet tips is skipping breakfast, as it will help them lose weight, this is totally incorrect. Skipping breakfast can make you hungrier later in the day leading to distorted satiety signals (i.e. it's hard to determine when you're full). This can actually result in eating more as a result.

If you don't have time to eat breakfast or don't like to, at least have a liquid meal to fuel your body after sleeping and having no nutrition for several hours.

3. Increase Fibre Intake

Eating lots of foods rich in fibre helps keep food moving through your bowels. Just like water, fiber rich foods bulk you up and make you feel full. In fact, the average person could lose around 10 pounds a year just from doubling their fiber intake.

High fiber foods are generally low in calories and fill you up, so eating more of them means you're eating fewer calories and leaving less room for calories from other foods. Fiber also cuts calories by attaching itself to some of the other proteins and fats that you eat and eliminates them as well.

The average person consumes about 8g of fiber per day, but many experts recommend 25g. Start your day with a high fiber cereal and keep eating fibre throughout the day.

4. Eat Healthy Fats

Many experts claim that fat causes obesity, raises your cholesterol and causes heart disease, but this is not strictly true. If fat is all that bad, why is it part of our natural diet chain? The reason is fat can be very good for you.

Fat provides the body with essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids) needed for normal reproduction and growth, as well as for production of prostaglandin, a hormone like compound that regulates blood pressure, blood clotting, and inflammation.

When eating fats you should eat healthy fats. Eating "healthy" fats includes the cold-water fish, mackerel and salmon, nuts, and olive oil. By eating healthy fats over unhealthy ones you will lose weight.

5. Lean Protein

Protein is a great weight control tool because of the immediate satiety factor and because it keeps you full for longer periods. It also balances out carbs by preventing insulin spikes that can lead to a drain in energy and sugar cravings.

Protein also helps maintain muscle mass, which is very important in the fat burning process. At least 20% of calories should be in the form of protein.

Healthy Eating Diets – Diet Tips to succeed at healthy eats

On May 11th, 2010 by Markus | No Comments | Posted in Weight Loss

A healthy eating diet starts out with small successes. You can do everything right but if you start making severe changes and don't have the proper guidance you are destine to fall short. I would like to share a few of the tips I use for my clients to get their eating and diets in check. By the end of this short article I will have shared a few of the most important factors that can be done to change to a healthy eating diet lifestyle. I will even show some excellent resources for you to think about when making your diet change.

Healthy eating starts out with discovering ways to eat smart

Food choices can decrease lots of health problems ranging from cancer, heart diseases and diabetes. Think of a diet change as a set a stairs. Take your FIRST STEP FIRST. Don't make a drastic change all at one time you need to make simple adjustments. Start out slow when making changes to your eating habits. Change them over time not all at once. This is often the most typical mistake and why many individuals fail when deciding to make a diet transformation.

Think lesser portions.

I'm certain you're aware at how portion sizes have enlarged over the years. Everyone desires to get a good value for their dollar as a result portion sizes have increased in several restaurants to accomplish the value people have been searching for. This is extremely detrimental to individuals on a healthy eating diet. You may still visit a restaurant just try to make sure you are limiting your portions if you have to simply eat half at dinner and save the rest for lunch the following day.

Make an effort not to consider certain foods OFF LIMITS.

When your brain knows you can't have something it will be normal to want more of the forbidden food. It is the same theory of telling yourself not to tumble when your on the stage merely to stumble over your own feet. You think so vigorously about not failing you accidentally convince yourself not to succeed.

It just isn't simply what you eat it will be how you eat.

You may eat only healthy meals but if you eat a large amount of food at one time it won't do any good.

A healthy eating diet goes further than the food on your plate. How you think about food is another key to triumph. As opposed to rushing through your food between meetings or when your grabbing the children from school. Slow down and think about your food as something that's needed for nourishment. Listening to your body, eating with others in the office or simply having a good quaint family dinner are some solutions to keep the eating in check. This is also a good way to instill excellent eating habits in your kids.

I hope I've shared a great amount of information so you can have the guidance you need to change to a brand new healthy eating diet lifestyle. I want to share with you an important healthy eating diet program I've discovered online. I've tested this product and I've began to suggest it to all of my clients. You'll find it at the link I have posted below. Seeing as you've read this far I know you are committed for a fresh healthily eating diet success. I wish you all the best and remember it doesn't take place immediately however with a little bit of time you will start to notice big key changes to your health.

Low Carb Diet Tips – This diet gives you a fast energy boost

On May 6th, 2010 by Markus | No Comments | Posted in Weight Loss

Are you tired a lot –or get tired quickly after eating? And all the while, you're putting on weight? Read on to discover a way that give a lot of people more energy and helps them control and even lose weight.

Of course, there's probably no one-size fits all answer. However, there are clearly ways to increase energy and drop the weight. And food is at the heart of it. It may or may not work for you, but consider giving it a read, and maybe a try.

For me at least, here are some of the guidelines.

1) Low carb food

Yup. I'm on a low carb diet. My body reacts to carbs (and especially grains) with serious fatigue. Maybe I have latent gluten insensitivity. And I know I have insulin resistance. In any case, if I want stable energy, I have to avoid carbs, and especially sugar. Unfortunately, I also have to be careful with fruit. Grains, carbs, and even fruit pack on the pounds fast. So I have to let them go.

2) Plenty of protein

Protein gives me energy. Especially fish, meat, and eggs. Not so much soy and dairy. So if I want to feel good, I eat a lot of eggs, meat, and fish. Apologies to the vegetarians among my readers.

3) Plenty of green stuff

Salads, with lots of hearty greens. My newest (old) favorite is Mache. It's that dark green salad stuff that has lots of small leaves. Sometimes it's sold in little bushels, and sometimes, the leaves have been separated. The second variety yields quite a lot of salad. And it's very tasty.

Why old favorite? My Mom used to grow it in our garden when I was a child, and it was my favorite salad. We called it mouse ear salad because, well, the shape of the leaves is pretty darn close to mouse ears…

Oh yeah, and those green foods I can buy at the health food store also are quite energizing. Then there's Maca though I haven't quite figured out how to incorporate it into my diet. I don't really like its taste.

4) Other fresh veggies

Colorful veggies galore. Basically, I feel great if I get lots of meat and lots of veggies, especially fresh ones, and can resist the rest of the stuff.

5) Some berries and nuts

Meat and salad can get a bit boring, so I add in berries and nuts. One of my favorite new "fast food" is one of Green Giant's veggie mixes that you can nuke – the one with the cauliflower and the cranberries. Yum. Berries are great, but in small doses. Too much fruit doesn't seem to agree with me either.

These are the basics for a healthy low-carb diet. If you want to lose weight without driving yourself crazy, while having consistently high energy, this is a good start. You may also want to check out the Gabriel Method which offers a unique non-diet approach to weight control.

Diet Programs – The truth about diets revealed

On May 4th, 2010 by Markus | No Comments | Posted in Weight Loss

There are lots of diet programs out there, in fact there are probably too many. So how do you start to make sense of the information overload and identify the diet programs that work? Not only that, but those that work for the right reasons, are easy to follow, don't cost the earth, are healthy and provide long term results. When you weigh these factors in, you may find you can start to narrow down the diet programs that work into those you can feasibly follow and maintain. Here are 5 reasons why a diet program that does work may not be right for you:

1. Diets That Are Too Complex And Time Consuming

Do you really want to spend all your time counting calories, carbohydrates and fat? Separating the good fats from the bad? No. Nor should you have to learn to become an expert chef or fitness guru just to eat healthily. Dieting shouldn't require a degree in math and to have your own personal chef, should it?

2. Diets That Are Too Expensive

Diet programs that work but charge extortionate start up costs as well as continuous membership fees can be avoided. Some companies like to take advantage of the vulnerable, encouraging them to buy their own expensive food products to lose weight. Expect to make a small one off investment in a plan that delivers without trying to bleed you dry.

3. Diets That You Cannot Maintain

For any diet programs that work to be really effective, they need to provide a realistic plan of long term weight loss. A grapefruit diet may make you lose a certain amount in a week, but could you live on them long term? Thought not.

4. Diets Pills For A Magical Quick Fix

If the large pharmaceutical companies are making so much on diet pills then they must work, right? Well perhaps they do, but are they healthy? Some pills are powerful diuretics that drain fluid from your body making you feel thinner. They don't help you lose fat though, so is that healthy? Some pills are appetite suppressants that curb your hunger so you don't eat. Is starving yourself healthy?

5. Diets That Don't Set Goals

Diet programs that work consistently, always involve goal setting. A diet program that doesn't do this isn't going to provide long term results. By setting goals for yourself you will have something to aim for, and by having something to aim for you will have the motivation to succeed!

What To Do When Diets Don't Work

Most people do struggle with weight loss without the right help and support, leading to another failed diet. To avoid the pit-falls of going it alone with your diet, you may want to make a one time subscription to a diet program that will guide you every step of the way. You do not need to pay a recurring subscription, and I would avoid any program that makes repeat charges. This is a program with a one-off payment for life membership!

Unlike many diet programs out there, this affordable diet program truly understands the mindset of the dieter. Most failed dieters don't need to be told what to eat, but they do need help in understanding the relationship they have with food to identify their own formula for success. With this program you will:

  • Get the tools to achieve your goals without unrealistic promises
  • Be able to appreciate healthy food
  • Stop feeling deprived in avoiding the food and habits that are keeping you fat
  • Enjoy eating, savour flavours AND lose weight

Vitality Health – 7 tips to achieving high levels of health

On May 3rd, 2010 by Markus | No Comments | Posted in Weight Loss

The better care you take of yourself, the more calm, positive, and creative you will be. This is why often your best thinking, your best ideas and your best decisions come after a holiday, vacation or period of rest.

You can increase the quality of your life by eating right and getting the right amount of rest. You'll also find that by taking more time off you'll create more opportunities for high quality thinking time which will have a positive affect on your life, career and income.

The phrase that "you become what you think about" is never truer than when it comes to eating and exercise. The way you think about food and exercise determines how much you eat and how much you exercise you get. If you change your thinking about food and exercise you change your behavior toward both.

Everyone wants to enjoy high levels of health and vitality. Your current levels of energy and physical well-being are perhaps the best indicator as to how well you are currently doing in your life.

Here are seven keys to maintaining high levels of vitality and physical health:

1. Maintain a proper diet. Eating a proper diet requires that you eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, and more lean sources of protein. Eat more fish, chicken, prime cuts of meats, egg whites, low fat yogurts, and soy products. When you eliminate most fats from your diet and replace them with high-quality vegetables and lean-sourced protein you'll increase your levels of energy, clear your mind, and lose weight.

2. Eliminate the three white poisons. The three white poisons that are common in most diets are white sugar, white salt and white flour. These three poisons are inert substances. In other words they contain little or no food value and are mostly used as preservatives in canned goods, soft drinks and snacks. If you reduce or eliminate foods that contain sugar, salt, flour and replace them with more fruits, vegetables and lean-source proteins your will feel happier, healthier and more energetic almost overnight.

3. Maintain proper hydration. Water is one of the greatest aids to good health that you can possibly consume. Studies show that you should drink eight glasses of water daily and more if you're doing physical labor or exercising. In fact medical studies have shown that as much as 70 percent of all health problems can be eliminated or reduced by increasing your water consumption. This is mainly because of the tremendous amount of toxins and impurities that you flush from you body when you drink water.

4. Maintain the proper weight. This simply means that you should eat less and exercise more. The way you think plays a dominant role in your eating and exercise habits. For example, people who are overweight often think about the pleasure of eating and give little or no thought to how they will look and feel afterwards. Whereas people who are never overweight are usually very thoughtful about how they will look and feel after eating. They don't like the feeling of being full or looking fat, so they eat less and stop eating sooner.

5. Get the right amount of exercise. Studies show that on average you need to get 210 minutes of exercise weekly or about 30 minutes per day to maintain a high level of fitness. You can get daily exercise from a variety of activities such as, walking, swimming, cycling, golf, tennis and exercise equipment. Perhaps the best exercise you can get is doing aerobics for 20 to 30 minutes, 3 to 5 times per week. One important note on exercise: Before you start an exercise routine you should get a complete medical check-up.

6. Get the right amount of daily vitamins and minerals. It's almost impossible to get the right amount daily vitamins and minerals that you need from diet alone. This is why you should at the very least take a multi-vitamin each day. Opinions vary widely on which vitamin, mineral and herbal supplements are good and how much of each you should take. You should consult your doctor or a nutritionist before you start taking other supplements in addition to a multi-vitamin.

7. Get the right amount of rest and relaxation. You need 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night to be fully rested. It's important that you give your body, mind and emotions time to recuperate from the day. If you can take a short 20 minute nap during the day. Have at least one day set aside during the week just for your family and recreation where you don't think about your work at all. Here's an important rule to remember: The time when you most need time off is when you don't have time to take time off.

You should think of your body as a machine that is designed to last 100 to 120 years with the proper care and maintenance. Take good care of it. Feed your body the proper foods and nutrients. Drink lots of water. Exercise regularly. Rest and recuperate, and give your body a chance to recharge on a regular basis.

Your body is the best investment you can make. It pays for itself over and over again, every minute, every hour and every day. As you develop the habit of good health, nutrition, exercise and overall proper care for your body it affects every other area of your life in a healthy and positive way as well.

Buy HGC – Do HGC shots for weight loss really work?

On April 30th, 2010 by Markus | No Comments | Posted in Weight Loss

Thirty per cent of Americans are considered obese. The US tops all countries in terms of percentage of obese people relative to its population. This is probably because Americans have less time on their hands for home cooking and regular exercise. They spend much of their time it seems riding cars, escalators, elevators and sitting behind desks.

The concern over the myriad of health conditions – heart disease, diabetes, cancer not to mention possible psychological problems caused by loss of self-esteem – resulting from obesity has spawned a host of weight loss programs all claiming to be the best solution to the problem. The diet industry is now a multi-billion industry and continues to get bigger as more people become apprehensive over their expanding waistlines and breathing difficulties. There are work out facilities in almost every corner of the city and food and supplement manufacturers practically rake in the bucks by mesmerizing the public with never heard of low fat foods for those who want their contoured figures maintained and weight loss inducing foods.

A lot of the obese and overweight will try to do something about their conditions by adopting some form of weight loss regimen featuring a calorie restricted diet and exercise routine. Some will succeed in bringing their weights down after many struggles. From among them, a great number will not succeed in maintaining their gains and shortly will sport their usual sagging waistlines again. A vast majority of dieters will fail either because their work schedules cannot accommodate the required exercise or they do not have the required iron will to observe the diet.

There is one weight program which promises to do away with the dreaded exercise – the HGC weight reduction program. Instead of the exercise, dieters are given 125 iu of HGC hormone every morning for a period of 23 days. The hormone is reputed to have the capacity to speed up metabolism and suppress hunger fangs, a sort of miracle drug to many who have grown tired of trying other weight loss programs and invariably failing.

The truth of the matter is that there is no such as magic in weight loss therapies, including HCG. HCG shot, medical experts will have you try it at your own risk because even Dr. Simeons have recognized the fact that it has potential debilitating side-effects. This does not mean, however, that you should not try. What they are saying is that you should be prepared to follow its demands which include observance of a rather severely curtailed calorie intake for more than three weeks.

If the main problem of people not having more success at losing weight is the lack of time, then the HGC provides them with a better than good chance at succeeding. But the shot is one part of the program. There is still the need to develop the kind of resolve to make the program work. Fact is, the lack of firm resolve has always been the problem.

Safe Weight Loss Programs – How to shed pounds fast and safe

On April 28th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Posted in Weight Loss

One of the first things you are going to need to know is you aren't going to shed those extra pounds without working at it. Furthermore, you are going to have to exercise. Common sense alone will tell you, without you being active, it's going to be twice as hard to lose and keep the weight off.

Now keeping with the theme of being sensible about your extra pounds, before you start your exercise and diet, go see your doctor. Stop and think about this for a minute. Chances are you didn't get overweight in just a few days. It happened gradually over several years or longer. So the chances are you may have put on 30 to 50 pounds or more.

You must realize that during the time you have put on these extra pounds and become more sedate in your lifestyle; your body has been making subtle changes. These changes could include anything from the start of heart disease to sugar diabetes or even worse.

When you see your doctor they will be able to make sure you are healthy enough to exercise and take on a restricted diet. Furthermore their guidance, along with a nutritionist, will give you a step up on your plan to take off pounds sensibly.

What is so cool about taking off your extra pounds and doing it with common sense is you will improve your overall health. More medical and other scientific studies have shown that obesity is directly related to people developing catastrophic diseases. These diseases often times leading to premature death or early onset of permanent disability.

In turn these studies have shown that by shedding all those extra pounds you can add years to your life. Not only will you add the extra years; but you will have a quality of life, you could never have, when you are carrying all those unnecessary pounds.

Of course the most common sense thing for you to do along with exercise is to eat a healthy well balanced diet. Please take notice of the "healthy well balanced diet". This means you need to make sure you are getting all the nutrition and vitamins your body needs to stay healthy.

You may well find that if you are on too restrictive of a diet, you create more harm than good to your body. If by chance your diet is one that for all practical purposes eliminates

Carbohydrates you could find yourself becoming sluggish and tired all the time. Your body needs them for energy, so you're going to need some type of supplement to supply what your body needs.

These few tips on how to take off pounds sensibly are not the panacea of knowledge. If you really want to use your common sense to get rid of your fat, you must seek the help of your physician. Without the guidance of health professionals you may be putting your life into jeopardy.

Remove Tummy Fat – How to get rid of stomach fat instantly

On April 27th, 2010 by Markus | No Comments | Posted in Weight Loss

You can lose belly fat more easily than you might think. A determined person can actually lose quite a lot of abdominal fat in a short amount of time simply by following these steps:

1. Relax and de-stress everyday.

Researchers have found that when you're stressed your body creates several hormones that can increase your abdominal fat stores. If you have chronically high stress levels your body will continually pump these hormones into your bloodstream and the fat around your midsection will dramatically increase over time. To lose belly fat you have to find effective ways to lower your stress levels. Some of the best anti-stress techniques are deep-breathing, meditation, and "relaxing" exercise like yoga or bike riding. Practice one or more of these techniques everyday and you will notice a big difference.

2. Eat more healthy fats.

The vast majority of people simply don't get enough healthy fats in their diets, especially the vitally-important omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fats have been shown to decrease fat-storing while increasing fat-burning. They may also be able to reduce stress hormones in your body. So if you want to lose belly fat you should be eating omega-3-rich foods — like fish and flax seeds — or taking a good omega-3 supplement every day.

3. Do some vigorous and "refreshing" exercise 3-4 times per week.

Nothing reduces stress or burns tummy fat like regular vigorous exercise. The trick is to find something you really enjoy and to not wear yourself out by trying to do too much too fast. If you hate running on a treadmill… don't do it! Training yourself to hate exercise is a big mistake that way too many people make. Instead, try speed walking, jogging or hiking outdoors. Buy a good bike and use it often. Play your favorite "vigorous" sport several times per week. You'll know you've found the right exercise to help you lose body fat when you feel more energized and refreshed after your workouts.

4. Try the Mediterranean Diet… or at least a "Mediterranean-style" diet.

Over and over again this natural diet has been shown to boost health, protect against chronic disease, and help reduce body fat levels. It works because it's high in antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables as well as healthy fats like virgin olive oil and oily fish. At the same time it's low in "bad fats" and "bad carbs" — especially processed foods. Even if you don't want to make a complete diet switch, it's extremely easy to incorporate delicious Mediterranean foods into your daily diet.

By the way, if you're looking for a highly effective and easy-to-understand guide to losing body fat, getting a flat stomach, and looking better fast I highly recommend the Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle program located here:

Removing fat from your stomach area isn't something that you can do overnight, but there are methods that you can put in place today that will greatly reduce the appearance of your stomach fat and get you started on the road to a healthy body. The trick is patience. Getting in shape takes time and it's crucial to tone your whole body. In case you just focus on your stomach, your stomach fat will just reappear somewhere else on your entire body.

That said, here are 5 tips to remove stomach fat you'll be able to use today:

1. Start out an abdominal workout routine instantly. It really is crucial to exercise your complete system but there's no rule that says you can't focus on one part of the system far more than others. As opposed to simply lounging inside the evening, do crunches or squats whilst you watch television or listen to music. You don't need to do hundreds of them either to see results.

2. Talk with your doctor about drastically cutting your calorie intake for a few days. By cutting your calorie intake your body will start to burn its fat stores in an attempt to keep your body functioning at its usual energy level. It is imperative, however, that you start to increase your calorie intake over time. Remember, the goal is to be healthy!

3. Cut all of the processed meals out of one's diet. As opposed to choosing snacks from the snack aisle, stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables to snack on when you're between meals. At mealtimes opt for as numerous raw foods as you possibly can as raw meals are far healthier than cooked foods.

4. Begin to sit up straight. Proper posture, especially once you aren't applied to it, can reduce the appearance of stomach fat (slouching can double the amount of flab that falls over your waistline). What's a lot more, it takes vitality to hold yourself upright all day long–energy that burns calories! It's a low burning vitality, but it burns calories nonetheless!

5. Drink enough water! Instead of quenching your thirst with juice, soda, coffee or teas–opt for water. Water is essential to keeping your body healthy and your organs functioning properly. Water will help you sweat out your toxins instead of storing them as fat. What's more, water has zero calories so by cutting out the other beverages and replacing them with water, you'll be cutting your calorie intake by hundreds of calories a day!
